EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS: China

Citriodora when there is cold phlegm pattern-predominance of cold, white, watery mucus in lungs and sinuses, joints may be affected, tongue thick with sticky white coat. Beneficial for cuts, insect bites, repellant, lice, increases respiratory metabolism of skin cells, (oxygen discharge, carbon dioxide intake) oxygenates skin.  Regenerative effect on pulmonary tissue, aids chronic bronchitis, tuberculosis, pulmonary gangrene, diphtheria, catarrh, coughs, sinusitis, flu, throat infections, pneumonia, and deep lung infections.  Benefits muscle aches and pains, arthritis, poor circulation, swollen glands (infections), aids hemorrhages, flu, epidemics (chickenpox, measles, cholera) fever, malaria, typhus, roseola, and immune stimulant. Caution : This oil should never be taken internally; it may be fatal (death of child reported after ingestion of 5 mls).  Avoid application near infants’ nostrils because of risk of spasm, due to cooling effect on the respiratory system.
